Sbobinator is proprietary software by Antonio Trento. Personal and non-commercial use is free after first-run acknowledgment. Commercial or business use requires a separate license. See the LICENSE file in the main repository and the MkDocs commercial license page.
Sbobinator is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
Transcription quality depends on audio quality, accents, background noise, and your hardware (CPU/GPU/RAM). The Author does not guarantee word-perfect output or suitability for legal, medical, or compliance workflows without human review.
Optional LLM summaries may send transcript text to third-party APIs (OpenAI, DeepSeek, etc.) when you configure them. You are responsible for API keys, costs, and data handling policies of those providers.
By using Sbobinator you agree that the Author and contributors are not liable for data loss, incorrect transcripts, API charges, or indirect damages arising from use of the software.
